Call for Papers - Special Issue: Women in Membrane Science and Research!

Recently, membranes and membrane processes have been playing a superior role in different aspects of people's life. Meanwhile, undoubtedly the role of women scientists for developing different membranes and membrane processes has been pivotal during the past years.

We are coordinating a special issue in honor of global women contributions in membrane technology in the Journal of Membrane Science and Research, in which Professor Ortiz (Spain), Professor Kumakiri (Japan) and Professor Kabay (Turkey) are the Guest Editors.

This special issue, entitled “Women Scientists Working on Membranes”, is oriented to the recent progresses made so far and prospects of membrane preparation/characterization and membrane processes in the light of global women’s outstanding and promising contributions. This special issue covers both original research papers and critical/comprehensive review papers on all aspects of membrane technology, but biological membranes!

Given your invaluable experiences in the field and professional leadership in Membrane Science and Research, we would like to cordially invite you to submit a manuscript to this special issue through the webpage of the Journal (VSI: Women in Membranes): http://www.msrjournal.com/

You are welcome to forward this invitation to your colleagues who may be interested. The deadline for manuscript submission would be December 30, 2021. The submitted manuscripts will be fast peer-reviewed. The accepted papers will be then published online very fast with an assigned DOI number.

To ensure that all manuscripts are correctly identified for inclusion into the special issue, it is important that you select "SI: Women in Membranes" when you reach the "Article Type" step in the submission process.

With kind regards,
