LINZ MEMBRANE SEMINAR (09-10.09.2020)

LINZ MEMBRANE SEMINAR

09-10.09.2020

MEMBRANE TECHNOLOGY IN THEORY AND PRACTICE

Since 2000

The two-day seminar deals in great detail with topics concerning the important membrane separation processes, with design and dimensioning principles and the related technical application of membranes. Lecturer, o.Univ. Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Samhaber, is considered an absolute expert and connoisseur of the most diverse technologies and fields of application. Theory and practice in just two days!

The importance of membrane technology in the separation of materials in production, preparation and processing of operating materials, and products requires constant development and adaptation to new conditions.

Whether water is used as raw material, solvent or for the purification of ingredients, by using membrane technology high-quality results are achieved with reduced energy consumption.

Pressure-driven membrane processes enable a wide range of applications with high energy efficiency.

Membrane technology applications thus offer an economic as well as ecological alternative for many classic standard processes and result in a high degree of reduction in CO2 emissions.

Specifically, this seminar will focus on the following:

  • Membrane separation processes
  • Modules and systems
  • Cost considerations
