Dr. Leonard Tijing, Senior Lecturer in University of Technology Sydney (School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Core Member, CTWW - Centre for Technology in Water and Wastewater Treatment) joined JMSR`s Editorial Board.
Dr. Leonard Tijing is a recognized researcher/academic in the field of membrane separation and material development (h-index=32; cited >3,000 times). Several of his papers are highly cited and he has consistently published in top journals in his field. He is a director of the Membrane Society of Australasia, and an editor or editorial board member of several academic journals. He has made outstanding contribution on the development of advanced membranes and materials via electrospinning and phase inversion techniques for various applications, including desalination, wastewater reuse, oil-water separation, and water treatment. He is known for his work on multifunctional electrospun membranes and nanocomposites for membrane distillation and other environmental applications. He has published more than 100 high quality journal articles, six book chapters, more than 30 conference proceedings, and two Korean patents. His current research interests include membrane technology, desalination, membrane distillation, water purification, membrane fabrication, electrospinning of nanofibers for environmental application, solar-thermal water evaporation, and additive manufacturing.
